Registered Student Organization Orientation
Registered Student Organization (RSO) Orientation is coordinated by the Student Union. RSO Orientation is a required training and takes place monthly. Orientation sessions provide members of RSOs an overview of RSO expectations, available resources, pertinent dates and events, and the opportunity to ask questions.
Registered Student Organizations are required to have at least two officers (preferably the president and another executive officer) of their organization who are listed on the registration or renewal form attend at least one RSO Orientation annually. Due to COVID-19, ALL RSOs must attend an RSO Orientation for Fall 2020 or Spring 2021, if not attending Fall 2020.
If the RSO cannot arrange appropriate attendance at the RSO Orientation due to extenuating circumstances, alternative arrangements can be made. Please contact Will Takewell (wct@olemiss.edu) to make such alternative arrangements. In cases where an RSO does not meet this requirement, that RSO may be declared inactive and will forfeit rights and privileges granted to RSOs (event registration, recognition, etc.).
If you missed the initial RSO Orientations in Fall 2020, please plan to attend one of the following sessions (below) and RSVP here.
