Miss University Scholarship Pageant

The Miss University Scholarship Pageant is sponsored annually by the Ole Miss Student Union and the Student Activities Association and is a preliminary pageant for the Miss Mississippi and Miss America pageants. Each contestant competes in the areas of interview, talent, swimwear, and evening gown. The winner of the Miss University Pageant will represent the University throughout the year at speaking and entertainment engagements and will compete for the title of Miss Mississippi in Vicksburg, MS during the summer. Previously five Miss University titleholders have won Miss Mississippi, and two have won Miss America.
